H.R. COLLEGE OFFICIAL M.U.N
WHAT IS M.U.N?
MUN, or Model United Nations, is a simulation of the United Nations in which students learn about leadership, diplomacy, and international relations. They act as delegates for various countries, participating in discussions and debates on major global topics. Women's rights, nuclear proliferation, and drug trafficking are among the issues addressed. Delegates collaborate to develop policy recommendations known as "draft resolutions." A successful MUN delegate is one who can take an idea from their opening speech and successfully incorporate it into a draft resolution that is passed with a majority. MUN conferences provide a tremendous platform for developing global collaboration and honing a variety of key skills such as public speaking, debate, lobbying, and negotiation.

Continuous Crisis Committee (United Nations Security Council - UNSC) (Double Delegation)
The crisis committee is a decision making body that has more power than a traditional Security Council committee. At HR MUN, the committee will begin similar to what happened in real life, but as delegates adopt new paths, the world spins into alternate realities, with delegates focusing on creating history how they see fit.
